The radiology department includes the simple radiological machine that can run simple X-rays, KUB( Kidney, Ureter, Bladder), pyelography, etc. The last technology Ultrasound X-ray scanner, that can run ultrasounds of all organs (upper and lower abdomen, bladder etc.), triplex of vessels (carotid arteries, kidney vessels, lower extremity arteries and veins etc.) as well as owing to the 3D-4D technology of the special drivers supplied that can perform masto-tomography with highly sharpness results. The digital mammography can image the breasts with less radiation comparing to the analogical mammography and with enhanced sharpness, contributing in this way to better tracing the microcalcifications. The digital mammography is combined in our department with the radiology ultrasound (fusion) offering a better examination in terms of sensitivity and precision (especially in dense breasts). The full body densitometry (DEXA) can offer fast and reliable information of possible osteoporosis in women or men.
